The young man is extremely talented. I suppose several D1 schools are recruiting him.

I have heard Youngstown State University. Their Head Coach, Ethan Faulkner, is a 2009 graduate from Elliott and a close friend of Coach A. His leadership and connection to the community are truly commendable.

I know of about 5 offers and ton of interest from multiple schools. Just saw he is going to WKU, EU, WVU and was just at Cincinnati. Marshall has been heavily involved and been at BC to watch him practice and play several times and with another year. Who knows how many more offers he will receive. Wish the kid the best. Breaking the schools scoring record of 30 plus years is a huge achievement.

HOOPFAN, it's impressive to hear about the multiple offers and significant interest from various schools. Attending WKU, EU, WVU, and Cincinnati, along with Marshall's involvement, speaks volumes about his talent and potential. Breaking a 30-plus-year school scoring record is indeed a remarkable achievement. Wishing him continued success and many more offers in the future!

Over the years, I've seen many teams with standout scoring players being hailed as the next big thing, a sentiment shared by many proud parents. Along with others in the 16th region, I wish Spur continued success. However, I recognize that the collegiate D1 level presents unique challenges that only a few get to witness. He will need to improve his defensive skills, and based on my observations of Coach A's teams, I believe he may face some struggles. Sorry if this offends you.

No offense to me. That’s your opinion. I’m just going to assume when you say coach A’s teams meaning the team or coach doesn’t teach or put emphasis on defense. I would disagree with you on that opinion. As I have watched over this season. I do think the defense has gotten better. Coach A done better at preparing the team in these past 10-15 games. Most of that is he has more pieces back as well. High school basketball is funny. You can do stuff to kid or team as far as planning and preparation. College level is different. High level AAU is different then high school. As far as Spur he is a great player as coach A and Pete say. A generational talent. If you don’t have people hating on you. Well your not even good enough to be talked about
