Game at 1:30. After a few losses especially pikeville Shelby Valley seems to be trending upward. Interested to see Keathley and Brady Johnson compete against each other. I’ll take valley by 15+

Blackcats played one of their better first halves of the season offensively, up 47-37 on SV at the half.

Defense needs to be better and rebounding has been a struggle also so far. Offense is cooking.

I thought we had a great game plan offensively. Ball movement was better, more drives to the rim and honestly controlled the game for 3.5 quarters. Then for whatever reason, we always end up going rogue and doing too much individual stuff which leads to turnovers, bad shots, poor defense, etc. I just don’t know anymore. Hardest I’ve seen us play all season. Hopefully we build from that and learn from the last 4 minutes of the game.

Hats off to Prestonsburg because I believe that’s the first time this season someone has matched Valleys intensity from the tip. Keathley had to have 20+ points. He is such a tough matchup. Foul trouble really kept SV from finding a rhythm but still found a way to sneak out with a win.
