Never really a contest. LC played one of there best defensive games of the year after playing there worst against JC. Went back to basics just played straight up man to man. Completely dominated this game.

Is Floyd Central the most disppointing team in the region considering preseason expectations?

I guess you kind of consider pre-season expectations based off the results of the previous season, they did win district but bowed out in the first round of the region. Lost a ton with the Moore kid, and Ronnie Samons, and Buck. Still returned Spriggs, Boyd, replaced the elder Samons & Buck with the younger brothers, figured there would be some bumps with the youth on this team, but didn't think it would be this bad. They started out 3-0 but are 4-14 since then. Just seems to be no structure within the offense, just stand 5 out on the perimeter and whoever gets the ball they watch drive to the basket, no crashing the boards or anything. Not the kids fault by any means, just lack of coaching & preparation. FC teams the last few years haven't been known for their stellar effort on the defensive end, and nothing has really changed this season.
I mean losing to Lawrence is one thing, I know they aren't known as a district rival, but they're still in the 58th and district games are ones you definitely need to be prepared for and motivated to play in, but to lose by 30? Just a sign of how this season has been for Floyd Central.
