Of girl's high school basketball in Floyd Co. 

This will be taking place from Allen Central High School, Saturday 1/25. 

Slate of games will be going on as all 3 Floyd Co teams will be participating. 

Betsy Layne vs. Belfry 1:00
Prestonsburg vs. Greenup Co. 3:00
Floyd Central vs. Magoffin Co. 6:00

Also, will be celebrating Bonita Compton, who was one of the staples for girls' basketball in Floyd Co. for so many years, coached at Allen Central and left an indelible mark on that program, and the other programs for girls' basketball in the county. Unfortunately, Bonita passed away just a few days ago after a long battle w/ cancer. So not only celebrating her legacy as a coach, but her life as well. 

Should be a great day for girls' basketball, if you're out and about, make sure to attend and support these student athletes.
