Braxton Keathley B2B 50 point games

56 tonight. I’ve never seen anything like this. And he can’t miss. That’s the beauty of it. It’s coming so easy for him right now even though he’s making some incredibly difficult plays. I guess we’re spoiled in getting to watch him every game. He keeps these percentages up, spread the floor and make the other team stop him. Plain and simple.

D1 player no doubt

Impressive.

He’s on a heater and his teammates are playing well around him.

It’s fun to see!

Is this a surprise, of course you need a little product to go with it but this kid works like no other. He’s a testament for results attributed from his work ethic, I don’t know the kid and I have never watched him play but do see the videos his Dad post. Amazing bright future but let’s not be mistaken this kid deserves everything he gets coming his way!! It’s not rocket science folks, if you want it, it’s out there for the taking. It’s your choice and this kid has done that. Can’t wait to watch him in the near future. Congrats young man!!!

Kid is on a generational run right now but scoring at an efficient rate and developing more trust with his teammates.

I'm hearing Keathley is on the verge of landing a Power 5 offer. If so, how many other players in the history of the program have played at a Power 5 school?

This guy is the real deal. His daddy ain’t gonna have to worry about paying for college for sure.

In basketball? Probably zero. We've had a couple of football players go power 5 in the last 100 years, but I can't think of any in basketball. Keith Leslie in the 70's was probably the only one that I can think of with the size and talent that possibly could've done it.

Yes, impressive.  What kind of size does Braxton have?

Probably 6’3 maybe 6’4.  That power five is a one at that size.  Needs another 1-2 inches or get a lot quicker defensively to play power five.  But he will work his tail off to do what he needs to do. Some things just aren’t controllable.

After some research that I can’t believe I didn’t know before today I discovered that Pburg produced and graduated a player who was a sophomore on the 1958 UK national championship team “the fiddlin five” named Lowell Hughes. He also played QB on the football team and 2B on the baseball team. He’s only 1 of 6 student athletes to ever letter at 3 sports at UK!

I like Darryl think he’s done a great job and is in it for the kids. Without him a lot of these kids would be unknown and never seen or talked about. But I do think he does blow some kids up who haven’t earned it or shown it. Too many are guaranteed D1 locks to him in 5th grade lol
