2027 class ain’t it’s not even close.

Austin slone would’ve won Player of the year last season but it only goes to a senior. Stats show it and his playing style in the regional tournament.

2025 and 2026 has a good amount of talent, but 2027 is loaded. 2028 seems a little top heavy but there still could be some players emerge from the shadows.

Burgett for pikeville has really surprised me. As far as potential I see that his ceiling is as high if not higher than everyone in that class. The more he plays and experience he gains playing with a good group above he can be a beast.

He’s sure athletic as they can get. Hes a great player and one of the best baseball players in the state in his age group.

A lot of great young talent in this region, current sophomore class has to be the best. Look at Paintsville & Johnson Central alone, the core of both their teams are sophomores, with not very many Seniors on the rosters.

Then a ton of sophomore talent spread throughout the region, freshman players as well.
