Congrats Panthers! Great game as the O looked better and the D really played lights out. Special teams game seems anemic for the most part throughout the game and really needs to be addressed. I thought Brenden Anthony played better and seemed healthier in this game, as well as Blake Caudill. Jayden Justice looks better every game and will continue to get better. Be ready for Ironton next week as they are for real!

Much bigger boost in this win for Pikeville than their previously scheduled opponent.

GRC probably gonna end the season with a 6-game losing streak.  Tough schedule left for a team already headed downhill.

Pikeville played well. Hager is hurt and out for year. That’s a big deal. Pikeville is banged up but should get a few back soon. Play Ironton next week. If they come out of that healthy, they should be able to make a run in postseason. They still have enough to win state.

GRC might not be a powerhouse, but they have some good players and a good coaching staff. Tough to prepare for someone overnight, but winning at 21 over a 6A school is impressive.
