Frederick Douglass at Dupont Manual. Thoughts?

Look for Frederick Douglass defense to be too much for Manual. The Broncos defense held Trinity to only 141 total yards. The four turnovers was what hurt the Broncos in their loss to Trinity. I look for them to bounce back with a double digit win.

Douglass leads 14-0 early in the 2nd quarter.

Manual gets on the board with a touchdown it is 14-7 Douglass with 9:24 left in the first half.

Douglass leads Manual 14-7 at the half.

Manual ties it at 14 with a touchdown to start the 3rd quarter. Douglass looks a little flat tonight after two big games to start the year with Bowling Green and Trinity.

Douglass goes 3 and out and Manual caps off a nice drive aided by a couple of Douglass penalties and now lead the Broncos 21-14 with 5:00 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. This one could be an **Upset Alert** Douglass is flat and the Crimsons did not read the predictions they are in this to win it. If Douglass does not get their heads in the game they will be heading back to Lexington 1-2.

Douglass defense got a fumble recovery deep in their own territory but then turn around and Strautman throws a pick 6 but it was called back for a penalty. Then two plays later Manual scores on a run and now lead the Broncos 28-14. The Broncos have been scored 28 unanswered after Douglass lead 14-0 one play into the 2nd quarter so in less than 2 quarters have given up 28 points.

Douglass comes to life on a interception on a fake punt by Manual and turn it into 7 and cut the lead to 28-21 with just over 6 minutes to play. The Bronco D needs a 3 and out.

Douglass turns the turnover into 7 on the first play to tie it at 28 with 5:53 to play.

Douglass goes 3 and out and has to punt with 1:32 to play, barring a big play looks to be heading to OT. That is the best the Broncos can hope for now.

Overtime! Douglass really lucky to get to overtime thanks to a big Manual turnover.

Manual scored a touchdown on their possession on just 2 plays and lead 35-28. Douglass has to score 7 to go to another OT.

FDU just needs to stop playing Louisville schools and out of state schools and stick to playing and beating up Lexington area schools.

Notice you did not mention Bowling Green who beat Station 16 tonight at LCA. It is also hard beat up Lexington schools when only 2 of the 5 will play you. lol

What about BG and BS game? There was no doubt that BG will beat them.
