The Hounds win at Whitley, clinching the top seed in the 50th District .  Good atmosphere tonight. Both teams played hard. The Crimson Canines had a much better effort than when these two teams met at Gilliam Gym a couple weeks ago. Corbin(14-7) placed four players in double figures, led by the senior, Worley with 18 and the eighth grader , Akins with 15.  The 50th District Tournament pairings look like this:

(1) Corbin   vs   (4)  Williamsburg

(2) Whitley County  vs  (3) South Laurel

Corbin, Whitley and a healthy SL are going to be tough outs for anyone. I believe Corbin and SL will come out of the 50th as usual. South will be healthy again in the near future! That’s a big difference maker!!
