Congrats LC on a great win!! Mason can pass really good!
LC's play calling is still a little iffy!! 1:30 left in the 4th up by 6 points ball on the 1 yard line, they could've kicked a field goal and made the game where Mason wouldn't have a chance to come back!! But what do they do?? Run it and give Mason another chance!!
1 good decision was deciding to go under center the second half!! This was a game changer
No matter what the final score is what matters most!!

I was wondering how they did tonight. If they had a chance to kick a FG at the 1 yard line to make it a 2 score game, with that little time left, they should’ve taken it. If they are not confident enough to kick a FG in that situation, they should NEVER kick a PAT.

Lc's defence only allows 14 points again!! Offense had a tough time capitalizing on big turnovers
Mason county is very physical and hit real hard!! LC was just the Better team tonight

Bulldogs bent but did not break. Seniors and freshmen stood up and made plays. Several guys out and the Dawgs pushed through.
Gonna give the LC staff a lot of credit for adjusting as well - going to a power run approach in the 2nd half was a very productive move.
Just a good win for the team and fans.

It wasn't a masterpiece, but it was a win against a scrappy team with some talent. Mason has some guys that can play. Some have been (justifiably) critical of LC's staff this year, but they outcoached Mason last night. Several examples, but the quick pass to #10 on 4th and 2 was a great call. That's one where the coaches get roasted if the QB throws a worm burner, but look like geniuses when the kids execute.
Unfortunately, the injury bug has taken a toll on LC, especially on the defensive front. I'd love to see them put it all together and win a couple games in the playoffs to end the season on an upward trajectory.

Solid win for the Bulldogs on senior night. Several seniors stepped up and made big plays as did a couple of underclassmen for LC. Lawrence needed to win a close one like this to build confidence headed to the playoffs. I’ve said it several times, this Bulldog defense is solid.

You’re right on it. It’s the defense. Other than a pretty bad lapse in tackling on the Royals’ last scoring drive, the Bulldogs played smart, physical football and just manned up when they had to.
Thank the Lord the MC staff can’t judge talent and won’t play their obviously best players where they belong. If they did, that team wouldn’t lose.
