Several Cougars were honored yesterday at the All-District meeting in London, KY. Coach Hillard Howard was voted as Coach of the Year. Caleb Frazier, a junior linebacker, was voted as defensive player of the year while junior quarterback Charlie Banks was voted co-offensive player of the year along with Demetrius Travis from PCC. Seniors Ben Fisher, Dakota Brock, Terry Tolson, Matt Chandler, and David Adams were all named to the first team along with Junior Chase Knight. Sophmores Chase Adams, Mckenzie Smith, and Greg Collins were also voted in on the first team. Seniors Zack Hogg, Josh Mcfall, and Stacy Phillips were voted in on the 2nd team. Junior Richard Shepherd was also voted in on the 2nd team along with sophomore Dustin Brown.

Those guys played their hearts out this season. They showed what hard work can result in.Best of luck to the underclassmen and congradulations to the seniors for a job "well-done". Also, I thought the coaches did a terrific job in keeping these kids focused all season. Work hard during the off season and the sky is the limit.

Congrats to all of these boys and their coaches. The Hillard boys up there at LCC make one of the best one two coaching combos in the state.

Great season Seniors! To the underclassmen, you have become the targets of the district and region. Continue to work hard and reap the benefits.

Congrats to the LCC team and all their coaches. Football is alive and well in Letcher County thanks to you guys.
