Powell Co. 63 - Magoffin Co. 60

Thoughts?

It was a physical matchup. Magoffin was in a good position to win this game. The 24 foot 3 pointer with the game tied and only 27 seconds left is what cost MC this one. Powell got the rebound, got fouled. Hit one free throw, then MC had to play from behind instead of tied with the ball. MC missed again, Powell got another rebound, then got fouled again.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It is the size of the fight in the dog.

Actually, I don't think that is was that shot in particular that cost magoffin the game.

Magoffin had an 11.0 point lead in the 2nd quarter and blew it right before half with 3 or 4 straight bad passes that were turned into points.

I kinda of believe that the 29 turnovers for the game committed by the Hornets and allowing Powell county to slip in and get some offensive put backs in the 4th quarter had a whole lot of bearing than just that one shot. Especially after the player had hit 3 in a row.

I just ment that shot shouldnt have been taken. MC should have held the ball for the last second shot. Best case, MC would have won, worse case, it would have went in to overtime. MC needs to make better decisions in the game.
