Perry @ Breathitt 1-4-2023
#1
Thoughts and predictions on this big regional matchup? Perry had played a gauntlet schedule and it gets no easier, the next 4 games,
At Breathitt
At GRC
At letcher
At Pulaski

So they desperately need to win the 2 region games.

If Beverly plays Perry by 11. If he doesn’t then nail biter either way. Breathitt is in a lot of turmoil right now over this coaching and it’s mostly the parents fault along with the administrators.

I think it’s gonna be a good one regardless if he plays or not, I think Breathitt has the advantage at home, gonna say

Breathitt 74
Perry 68

hope I’m wrong #rolldores

Breathitt should really concentrate on hiring a coach that's best for the team and not best for the parents. If they will take daddy AND mommy ball out of the equation the road to Rupp will be short for them. Talent wise they are hands down the best team in the region IMO. If the parents and players put their egos to the side and play for the good of the team and play as a well oiled machine they'll go to Rupp and possibly make some noise there. Breathitt is bad for hiring out of the good ole boy/buddy system. I'm afraid they'll do the same with their baseball program too. Talent is all over the place in that school system but I'm afraid it's who you are and not how good you are there

Well I know who the new coach is and he’s a familiar face. I hope they can now get to work and improve before February which I think they will

The parents didn’t like John, BB, and now want Arch out sooner or later you have to stop blaming coaches and put some of it on the players. John played fast and everyone said they played out of control, BB and Arch play a slower ball control style and the same parents are screaming speed it up. Lol

Arch is already out. There’s a new sheriff in town

Interesting to see how this works out. I sure hope he can get them to gel. Maybe he has a little bit of his mother in him.

How much does Moore know about baseball? He may well try his hand at that too.

At this point I don’t think it matters who is coaching these parents are going to complain and continue to screw the team up more and more. Best of Luck to Kyle he is a class act.

These parents are unreal. The funny part is not one of them played or was any good at sports when they were playing 25 years ago lol

Not one

Kyle will bring some tuffness to them. Kyle was a really good all around athlete. Great role model too. Probably be a big improvement. It’s not rocket science.
