Taylor lead 39 to 36 at the half.  Each team scored on each possession the first half.  Defense showed up for both teams in the second half and the third quarter both teams went scoreless.  LaRue scores twice in the fourth and then Taylor scores with 1:24 remaining to make 48-45.  LaRue recovers the onside kick and gets then gets a first down to run the clock out.

I' m afraid this district is going to be shootouts all season. Then in playoff you meet the teams that have good hard hitting defenses...gonna be tough when you're used to scoring 35+

I agree. LaRue is down. Lost head coach, lost QB, lost top receiver and defender and half the O-line. That’s two straight weeks Taylor has given up big points to average competition.

How is the Boley kid able to transfer to LCA openly announce his recruitment on social media and still be eligible to play ? Did no one from LaRue fight this or y’all just don’t care ?????? Asking for a friend …… Julian Tackett and the KHSAA actually cleared this kids to play ?????? Mind blowing !!!!!! KHSAA and Tackett are Rotten to the core . Rich white kids can openly be recruited on line . Meanwhile poor underprivileged black kids are discriminated against and ruled ineligible to play. Tackett and the KHSAA need to be fired asap . Bad for kids .

Not sure any difference than him and the kids from Garrard that left their team high and dry for Boyle. This crap sucks and someone should have the balls to put a stop to it. That kid from Garrard was already on the radar for colleges, and would just put up even bigger numbers in Garrard.
