Estill has no hitting because they play against very good competition almost every single game.  I think you can almost double their run production against 14th region competiton other than against Perry because Perry is a very strong defensive team.  Then you throw in the Winkle factor. 14th region teams hitting production will probably drop by 90% vs her.  It will be Perry vs Estill in the finals.  Going with Perry.  Score 3-2

All valid points Bulldogs4ever. Engineers playing outside the region probably helps with competition a lot. However, this style of scheduling didn’t help Estill last year. Ran into a buzz saw in semifinals with Benny and the Wolves!  Winkle is a difference maker for sure. She can shut down some teams by herself. Engineers are good defensively as well as Perry. Commodore pitcher Kim Hughes kept the Engineers at bay the last time playing. Perry has the advantage right now if they play today. As we all know, anything can happen at tournament time. If these two square off, Every inning, at bat, every play will be important. Good luck to all the 14th region teams!  Make the mountains proud!
