Corbin @ Lincoln County 10/15

Hounds are just too tough and talented to let this one be close. Actually IMO, Corbin wins 4A.

Gonna take them Hounds 31 to 14 over them Lincoln boys. Supposed to get some weather and I think they will just burn clock if they are smart. They played us pretty tough down here. They screwed up on kickoff and we got 7 on em and then first time on offense they fumble and we scored quick to go up 14 in the first couple mins. They just shot themselves in the foot over and over but them boys wouldn't lay down. I watched a couple of their games from last year and it didn't look like the same offense. They was running a double wing against us and not getting much out of it. Their O line was a little better than I thought and they whooped a couple of our big boys up front. I ain't saying they are the greatest but they ain't that bad. Biggest difference I saw from last year was that Davis boy ain't playing QB. I don't think the Amon boy played against us I think he was out but I watched that first game against the Jumpers and they had 3 boys 8, 12, and 21 running all over them. 21 played good against us even though he got some yards there at the end. Really didn't get a great look at their defense because special teams and turnovers put them in bad spots and on short fields and they had to play from behind from the start. The 2 that stood out to me on D was the Davis boy and 45 their MLB they will lay the wood to you. I don't know if they had guys out injured or with covid stuff or if a bunch graduated but biggest thing to me is they don't look like they got a lot of numbers or are very deep.

Corbin will probably rest some guys 2nd half maybe even during 1st half or at least I’d imagine they will.

My work brings me to red hound country Tomorrow well Knox county, hopefully find some good grub down that way.
Greatful Ed’s BBQ in Bville. Awesome pulled pork.

Austin city saloon in Corbin. Good everything.

Smokey Bears in Corbin awesome pulled pork jailbreaker sandwich. Bubby's awesome catfish and sides with pretty good pulled pork. David's with fried chicken, steak etc.

I've gone for Bubby's catfish many times. Usually really good. I would love to see them improve their dessert offerings. Maybe some homemade pies. Something along the lines of what Bubby's in Barbourville used to have.  If they offered the homemade pies, they could easily get two or three bucks more on the meal price.  Better desserts has always been the one thing lacking there.

Sorry. Not Buddy's in B'Ville. I can't think of the name. Someone help me out. I think it may have started with an "H" but not sure. They had incredible homemade pies. I would have gone for the pies alone. It was very affordable as well.

Just  thought of it...Hillbillies. It was really good.

I completely agree with you. I love dessert, but usually skip it there, because it sucks.

Woah Woah Woah  never ate there, I’m missing out apparently, Smokey Bears is my jam, except when I get carried away with the cold beverages afterwards and the gout sets in…
