#7 (4A) John Hardin @ #7 (3A) Bardstown 8/27
#1
# 7 John Hardin with new coach Doug Preston (won multiple state championships with Franklin-Simpson) smacked Larue County 48-6 in week 1. Class 3A power Bardstown came off a impressive season last year losing to eventual state runner up Elizabethtown beat  Franklin-Simpson 35-21.

Who you got?

I'll take Bardstown in an upset, 24-21. But would this be an upset if Bardstown won?

John Hardin has improved significantly and Bardstown should still be solid again this year. Good game for each team to get better and expected to be a close one. Truly a tossup on paper. Giving a slight edge to Bardstown at home, and especially if some missing defensive players return after missing last week.

I picked Bardstown, but if I had thought about John Hardin hiring Doug Preston I probably wouldn't have.
