Belfry 71 South Floyd 62
#31
This was a good game at times and others it looked a bit sloppy.

I thought the better team won. Fridays game between JC and Belfry will be another barn burner.

Congratulations to Belfry and also to South Floyd for a fine season.

Quote:my thoughts on the game.... SF didnt rebound as well as they usually do. gave a lot of second chances to Belfry and they scored on em. SF got down early and had to fight back, which they did but couldnt get over the hump. Refs didnt do too bad a job tonite except for that young one who cant call his way out of a paper sack. missed calls on both ends. Belfry couldnt miss tonite either.

SF had 47 rebounds how did they not rebound well and they out rebounded Belfry.. Belfry didnt miss much because they got so many layups in transition

SF did not rebound the ball like they were capable of doing. The pace had nothin to do with this game. SF guards were to worried about getting to the other end of the court instead of helping the big guys block out. On every shot, all of the belfry players crashed the boards. There were 4 to 5 Belfry players under the goal to SF's 1. Belfry got 2nd chance after 2nd chance points... Great job Belfry on your agressive play and good luck.

SF had 21 offensive rebounds and Belfry had 16 now who had more second chances

So Alfus what did a Raider ever do to you?
Did one of the Cheerleaders turn you down?
Or the whole squad?

Your type of post is an embarrassment to this site.

All you want to do is churn the butter

I've always thought that if you were going to beat South Floyd you had to run their big guys to death, because we all know if you get into the transition game with them you will be successful, as shown by Belfry, but if you let them get in their set offense, they are tough to stop because of their size.

SF got all their rebounds when they were making a comeback....By that time it was to late. All the first have and part of the second half belfry had the upper end on rebounds.
