Was it 1969 the moon landing took place? Around here people barely had a vehicle that was good enough to make it to the nearest maw and pops store, in 69! The holler was dirt and rock roads and so was the main side roads.  When I say rocks I'm not talking about gravel.  I'm talking big sharp rocks sticking out of the road! Flat tires were a regular occurance.  So was vehicles breaking down.  Just going a few miles down the road was a common struggle.  And they expect us to believe they had the technology to land on the moon during this time   This is why I believe the moon landing was faked.

Now here's the other side of my point: My dad drove from Johnson Co to Ashland daily, back and forth,  for work. So not all vehicles were terrible during this time,  like I made them out to be.  My Papaw drove a truck for Ford.  He drove into Michigan all the time and delivered vehicles to car lot's all over.  So again not all vehicles were bad.  We did have some pretty good technology back then. 

I also believe the government has access to technology that we don't find out about until many years down the road.  Like drones for instance.  Drones are now available to the public,  at least some are.  I believe drones can be blamed for many ufo sightings years back,  before they were made available to the public.  I believe the government was testing and experimenting with them. I believe the government has access to technology now,  that won't be released to us until later down the road.  Like years down the road. 

These are just my personal opinions is all.  Idk if the moon landing was real or staged on a Holly wood movie set     I do lean more towards it was faked! I'm not a hundred percent convinced either way.

Would have had to be WAYYYYYYY too many people involved in the coverup if the moon landing was faked. Just way too hard to cover up something like that. Much, much harder to stage such a coverup than to actually make the trip. So why cover it up?

That's a good point there about the cover up. 
I watched a documentary the other night about Michael Collins,  known as the forgotten astronaut.  He never stepped on the moon but he was there on the mission. He operated the space craft or something.  Anyway, in that documentary they were talking about all the trouble it would take to stage the moon landing. 
The only thing I can think of is to beat Russia to it.  Which I guess that means Russia would've been faking trying to get to the moon to.  Russia was beating us in the space race.  If I'm not mistaken they had craft around moon first.

Job is my favorite book in the Bible. 
The patience of Job.  He lost everything then later on was rewarded with double what he lost.  I can really relate to those things.

When even answersingenesis.org recognizes the absurdity of the claims made by flat-earthers, you know how  baseless and scientifically blasphemous these claims are:

Conservative, Bible-based Christian website, answersingenesis.org says flat-earthers are nuts. I would say, "What the hell ! What's the harm in their not believing objective truths? " But many of the same folks don't vaccinate their children. Yes, their non-rational thinking is harmful. I think the most interesting question is "WHY do they seem to be so passionate about believing something that is so objectively false?" I speculated in the opening piece that it has to do with some sort of religious reason. As we know, religion makes many good folks say , do, and believe some very, very odd things. Maybe someone can answer this.

Now I don't know if PJ has anything to say either way on the shape of the earth. But I do know for a fact, his barbeque sauce is worth getting. Not only that his food is delicious. But one thing I never understood was is how water upside down just, you know, where China is, like Buggs Bunny always said, digging to China. How the water under us just didn't fall off the earth........    Yeah, all kinds of rabbit holes.........

I'm with Mr Degrasse Tyson on this one. He will no longer "debate" flat-earthers because , he says, there is no debating something that has been proven to be objectively true. You can't debate gravity, photosynthesis, natural selection... AND round earth. Those are objective truths.

I chose the pancake,  for breakfast this morning,  3 of em,  drenched in maple syrup 

I shoot basketball pretty regular for exercise.  Occasionally I'll go to shoot a few hoops and the ball will be deflated,  flat.
Based on that, if someone turns to choose the ball and the ball is flat,  wouldn't that just be another pancake?

If the moon landing did happen,  that'd be a good reason to go to the moon.  To see if it was ribs. I could definitely understand that 
If the moon reason didn't happen,  that'd be a good reason to give it a try.  Get a bunch of us rednecks together,  we might just find a way to make it happen.  Especially if a never ending supply of bbq ribs is involved
