Mark Palmer coming from out of state to take this job.


Anderson has hired Mark Palmer as its next head coach. Palmer spent the last nine seasons at Patrick Henry HS in Glade Spring, Virginia as the head football coach and AD, and led the Rebels to the playoffs in seven of his nine seasons coaching at Patrick Henry."

Wow this guy is a great coach! What a hire. I wonder if they already had him and that’s why they let Peach go? No way they get a hire like this that late after season.

Appears to be a good hire at first glance.

Took his team to the 1A Semi's with a 13-1 record last year.

First year his team was 3-7 it appears, then went to 7-5, and been only trending up ever since.

Will say there is a noticeable difference in Southwest Virginia 1A and entering one of the toughest Districts in the entire State of KY.
