On March 14,1975 Phillip Wireman scored 12 points in a region game. On March 14,2003 Ashley Wireman scored 6 points in region game. She was 2nd team allstate. She played just like her father team player and played defense. Tommy McKenzie on Dec. 28,1999 scored 30 points for his high school. On Dec. 28,2001 Tommy scored 11 points for Alice Lloyd in Rio Grande, Ohio. Morris Hall scored 29 points on March 8,1984 at the Virgie region. Mike Hall on March8, 1985 scored 40 points in the region game. James McCarty on 3-4-72 scored 24 points in the region game. Jamie McCarty scored 14 points on March 7,2006. Joe Salyer scored 17 points on 3-4-72 in the region. Joe is the leading vet for pets in Eastern Kentucky. At the 1976 region Jackie Wireman scored 20 and 27 points. Jackie was 3rd team all state. Steve Lemaster a junior scored 20 and 26 points in this region. Mike Castle in 1970 district scored 23 points. two games in the region he scored 41 and 27. Howard Wallen on Feb. 10,1970 scored 29 points for coach Paul Williams team. On Feb. 12, 1972 Howard scored 30 points against Austin Peay. Coach Joe B. Hall brought the UK team in October 1976 for a scrimmage in the Johnson Central gym. My father worked tickets at the Johnson Central district and tied the tie for the loyal fan and kind man Lowell Thomas.

Jody Salisbury on January 29,1991 scored 29 points. Nathan Salisbury on January 29,1994 scored 17 points. Avery Fairchild on Feb. 6,1991 scored 18 points in high school. Avery for Alice Lloyd College scored 7 points on Feb. 8,1992 at Georgetown College. January 6, 1981 Tim Branham scored 29 points. Tim was a 3time HM player i would have liked to watched him play. On January 14, 1972 saw Mike Preston with 16, Mike Wallen with 17 and Neil Marsh scored 10 points. November of 1973 played a 9th grade game against Steve Trimble, Brian Taylor and Steve Lemaster. After the game Prestonsburg Community College with a home game in the central gym. W.R. Castle had a talented 8th grader last name Picklesimer. 1975 played Salyersville in the Oil Springs gym. October 1972 bought a plastic waste basket that Neil Burchett was selling for his team.
