The winningest Coach in Anderson Çounty history, Mark Peach, has stepped down.

Wonder what direction they go next? Underachieved bad this last season.

Been grumbling over there about Mark for years. To me when he had a good team they were really really good, when he had a mediocre team, they usually were bad.... never middle of the road. Hot or not sorta speak. But I think he is a good coach personally.

There is a lot of fools in Anderson County! Hard job in my opinion.

Lost in 2019 to:

-Mercer County that was a 3A Top 6-7 team all year long.
-Franklin County who beat Lou. Central and was a Top 10 4A squad.
-Lexington Catholic
-Boyle County (2x)
-Bardstown squad that ended up proving they were a Top 6-10 team in 3A

Only ONE game on their schedule is Peach/Staff/Players and anybody with ANY sense of reality saying, "Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda" & that's Bourbon County.

The principal who fired him was also a former assistant coach that Peach hired early on at Anderson. Good luck finding anybody that wants to take on that schedule/district.

Peach will be better off for it.
