7.) Pike County Central (9-14) Celebrated a good week of play by defeating Belfry. Excited to see Ratliff play Monday.

6.) Betsy Layne (11-10) gritty young group that is getting a little older. Will swing the bats at the plate. Big win over Allen Central in the opening round and solid win over Prestonsburg to win the district title.

5.) Pikeville (19-11) Was playing better at the end of season. Someone had to be left behind in the 59th.

4.) Lawrence County (21-13) After being at the # 1 spot for two consecutive times, this group drops to # 4. Trying to establish some wins against the region's top teams.

3.) East Ridge (16-10) Team has not played well as of late, went in as # 1 seed and just fell apart. Two things for this group. Loss to Shelby Valley should make you better, and both teams drew 58th district opponents.

2.) Johnson Central (15-10) This team continues to stay at number 2. Wildcard team in the post season. Went to East Ridge late in season and won on the road...be warned of this team.

1.) Shelby Valley (17-8) Playing like a defending group should. Stanley MVP of tournament and this group is just tough to score on. Everyone is chasing the BatKats to the finish line.
