Lynn Camp announced earlier Coach Richard “Birddog” Jones passed away this morning from a battle with cancer. WYMT has more information.

I think his funeral might have been today, drove by Lynn Camp and parking lot was packed.

I didn't really know him, but he is a cousin, and seemed to be a great guy. Sorry for his family's loss, but it is heaven's gain and no more suffering for him.
