Last night's starter Matt Belisle, who allowed six hits and one walk while striking out a career-high seven batters, was stunned when he heard radio voice Marty Brennaman mention the team's situation over the air, following the Reds loss to Houston (May 9th)
"Gosh," Belisle sighed. "I'll be honest. I didn't realize that's where the standings were."

Don't look for Bailey to come up though.

What's the concensus on who will start Sunday? Santos? Bailey isn't even on the 40 man roster.

They will have to either bring up Livingstone or Dumatrait from Louisville. Livingstone turn to start at Louisville is Sunday, which works out well for the Reds. Also remember this, Kirk Saarloos can start as well from the pen. If Livngstone or Dumatrait are brought up, the Reds would have to make a move in terms of the 25-man roster because they will not send Jared Burton back down because they'll lose him to Oakland (rule 5 draftee).
