Been looking on here for information and thoughts on the Engineers for the upcoming football season. I know it is the last year before district realignment, and it looks like life will only be getting tougher for Estill after this year. I believe Knott Co won the district last year, correct? Who do they have back and who is the favorite to win? I noticed Estill has what seems like a tough non-district.

I will post their schedule below, and would love any and all thoughts and info.

Powell won district last year and will probably win it again this season. I'm anxious to see what the schedule is for 2019.

The non district schedule is tough and should prepare them for district play but I don't see many wins in those 5 games. I also see them possibly going 4-1 in district and be runners-up to Powell. Powell will win the district unless they stub their toe somewhere along the line.

Prediction: 5-5. District runner up. Home playoff game vs Casey Co.

I do not disagree that they have the best team, but a coaching change is always hard. I don't care if its an in house hire or not. Very possible to still win the district, just something to keep an eye on.
