lawrence started off last week by prevailing over east ridge 2-1 in a very well played game from 2 very good teams.lc then travel to dickson tn to play in the waverly classic touney.the tn softball regular season opened on 3/12 and their preseason started 2/28.all of the tn teams lc played had already played over 30 games.of course with club k's headquarters in tn it is no wonder softball is so big.lc finshed 2-5 and was in every game until the last inning.I would reccomend this tourney to any program that wants to play upper level softball.the folks in tn are light years ahead of ky in the game of fastpitch and it was extremely educational in the fine points of the game.box scores were-lc-2-waverly central-6,lc-4/mt. pleasant-2,lc-1/siegel-7,lc-9/williamstown-2,lc-0/camden-6.this coming week[4/9] lc will play tolsia,fairview,boyd county and host a jv tournament.
