Thats an awesome week of football. I loved it, you get to play with everyone you've played against for the last four years, and you find out most of them aren't really pricks. haha Then you go up there an play and get into a bunch of fights. I loved it.

Too bad it's still in Matewan. Any chance they could use a Kentucky officiating crew to finally even out the calls? Lord knows the bunch they used when I was up there couldn't find their rumps with both hands if you gave 'em a map and a flight controller to guide 'em in.

My guess is weather. It will be warm at the end of April but not 90 degrees like it will be in July. With the rash of heat related deaths in football lately they probably wanted to find a better date where the weather would be nice but not too hot. My complaint is this: having it this early in the spring theyre are probably some kids who would like to play but cant because theyre playing Baseball. Did anyone from Pikeville make the team?

I know that the paper that I received the date of the game was July 28....Chris Yates and possibly Colby Newsome from Shelby Valley are going to be playing...I think that UVA_Wise typed the wrong date

Yes the date is July 28, they haven't changed the date....but does anyone know other players that will be participating in the game??? I know there are 13 teams that has 2 or more seniors that will be selected but who? :confused:

I've heard Daniel Pugh and Kyle Sublett of Paintsville were invited to play. They might actually play if it's in late July, but if it's in April I doubt they're going to give up baseball. Congrats to both of them as well as the guys mentioned above.

Invited from Pikeville, are Jacob Sword, Casey Rowe, Brad Bryant, and Mitch Jackson.....I think they will all play.......And its not the end of april...it s in July...i spoke with coach Joplin the other day
