No excuses, Paintsville made the plays in the 3rd & 4th qtr. to get the W.

JC had some chances to pull away from Paintsville, but just couldn't put a run together. Had some uncharacteristic turnovers and had trouble scoring while Paintsville was going on their run. Paintsville erased JC's lead and did enough to stay in the lead.

These two play next Thursday (2/8) @ JC.
JC is 2-1 in the District, Paintsville is 5-0.

As of this game, JC's senior class holds a 6-2 lead over the Tigers during their tenure.
12th - 17/18: 0-1
11th - 16/17: 3-0
10th - 15/16: 2-0
9th - 14/15: 1-1

No idea.

But there JC still have three district games left before that would come in to factor.

Hopefully this loss wakes JC up. Tommy McKenzie benched all of the usual starters for the first 3-4 minutes of the game last night. You donât usually do that unless there is an issue with effort, attitude, or the teams just not listening. Just have to regroup and battle the rest of the week with a couple more district games.
