Report: Dolphins' Porter, Bengals' Jones in altercation

Former Pittsburgh Steelers standout and current Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter was cited by Las Vegas police for misdemeanor battery after he allegedly punched another NFL player in the fa
ce Sunday night, according to a published report.

The Las Vegas Review Journal is reporting that Porter was cited for an alleged fight he had with Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Levi Jones.
"Apparently these two have a history with each other, a history of trash talking on the field," Las Vegas police Lt. Kevin McMahill told the paper.
Jones was treated by medical personnel at the scene, McMahill said.
Porter recently signed a five-year, $32 million deal with the Dolphins after being released by the Steelers.

In his eight-year career, Porter has 60 sacks and 10 interceptions.

how are you gonna say thug. so what they got in a fight, people all over the world get in fights. a fight is not that big of a deal. and as for a cheap shot artist, im sure you say that cause you watched him knock the snot out of anybody the bengals put on the field of the years.

The fight is not the reason I say thug. Porter is a thug period. He thinks he is the best thing to ever step foot on the football field. He makes me sick.

that dont make you a thug. he might be arrogant and cocky, but that in no way makes you a thug. all ive ever seen out of the guy is him doing everything it takes to win and always playing with the heart that a lot of the guys in the league these days do not have. he plays hard evey single down and never takes a play off, id take him on my team any day. the guy is hard nosed and on of the best all around backers in the nfl. i dont even like him, i dont like anybody whose ever played for the steelers, but i know that hes a great player

How many sacks would you say Porter had vs the Bengals the last 5 games biz?

dont know, but i do know that pittsburgh is 4-1 in the last 5 games vs cinci.

uhhhhhh I think thats 3-2. They split the past 2 years and Pitt won the playoff game last year.

BTW Porter has 1/2 of a sack vs the Bengals the last 5 games.

oh well ii could really care less about the both of em. im just tired of people makin such a big deal about two teams that aint that good.
