Great effort by the Lady Hawks. They really showed heart and showed how we in Eastern KY can play basketball with the rest of the state. Girls, you have made us all proud and there is nothing to hold your heads down about. You made a goal to make it to Saturday morning and you accomplished it. We love you here at home and we are BEAMING with PRIDE and I am proud to be an alumni of PC. Congrats girls!

Congrats PC on a great season!! Congrats to Haley Ratliff on an amazing career, good luck in the future, and good luck to the rest of the lady hawks returning next year!!!

that sux.. but congrats on all your success PC.. we are all proud of you.. you know these girls had to be wore out.. they played game 2 last nite and had the first game this morning.. does anyone think this could have ahd something to do with it???

I think they played a very good team and have nothing to hang their heads about. They had a great run and will always have this tournament to reflect on and it would have to bring back smiles to their faces for a long time. I am sure Pike Central High School will always remember the showing of this team had with pride.

Well I agree they were tired but LCA was just a worn out. Both teams played hard and I'm sure fatigue started to sit in. BTW, this was the 2nd game of the day. Iroquois beat Assumption in the 1st game.

Great effort by Pike Central. Way to go girls - making the region proud. Ton of talent returning, led by Kayla Lowe with Holly Harris and Hanna Thompson and Kayla Ratliff.

u girls played like champions! fatigue, the environment, and i hate to say but the REF'S all had big factors. but congratz to Haly Ratliff, you played awesome, i've watched u almost everytime this season, and i can tell u u were at the top of your game, she should go somewhere BIG!!! congratz to PC, this shows that NON-RECRUITING schools can play ball 2!!!!

Congrats girls you all brought some big smiles to my face with the 2 wins and the loss. You all set a goal and achieved it although making that championship would have been great making it to the semifinals was just as good.
I belive the 6-0 run LCA looks right at the half took the wind out of our sails. They out rebounded PC 23-2 in the first half which really hurt the Lady Hawks tonight. AD had the flu which hurt the inside game. London for LCA is a baller the refs protected her once she got her fourth foul. 23 for LCA hit i think 4 3s in the 2nd half which stretched the lead out. LCA was a great team and PC played like champions congrats girls. WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!

I must say from a valley fan that we are proud of you all. you all played so great.there is nothing to hold your heads down about, noone even thou you would made it this far (me being one of em) but you proved us all wrong. Im happy that I got to see you all played down there,you proved the lexington teams that the 15th region isn't just a push over. Haley Ratliff had a great game.wished they could won the championship for her,but oh well. I enjoyed watchin her play and she will be very much missed!!

-PCC Lady Hawks, you really proved to everyone how talented all of you are. This team will always be remembered. You have made all of Eastern KY proud. It was a well played game. You should hold your heads high and soar like the true Hawks you are. If you ever feel ashamed, just look at the humongous trophy you earned in Bowling Green and I assure you that you will be filled with pride. Everytime I go by that trophy I get chills. Ya'll worked your butts off and it really paid off. Congrats not only to the girls, but also to Coach Butcher, Coach Mercer, and Coach Coomer! I love ya all! <3
