REV.13:16-18 And he causeth all.both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in THEIR RIGHT HAND, OR IN THEIR FOREHEADS.And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast,or the number of his name.Here is wisdom.Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man;and his number is Six hundred threescore and six,,666. Now its my personel belief he will come on the scene at the age of 30.The same age when Jesus,s ministry actually started.My question to you all and myself is,,Do you all think he has been born yet?If we knew for certain he had been born then we would know the end was very close.Acoording to the good book alot of people will take the mark because like today they dont believe Jesus is really who the bible teaches he is.Im afraid alot of people dont believe their will even be an anti-christ or a rapture or what I would perceive has the worst time ever to be on the planet,,THE 7 YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD.Im not interested one bit in any comments on not believing any of this but your belief,s on how it will all play out according to how you interpret the bible to mean.If you dont believe this at all please start another thread but lets keep this one to how you might interpet the Holy bible in reference to the end of time and antichrist.

When they are begging the rocks and mountains to fall upon them, they will believe then. I will say again that I sin daily, not intentionally, but I still do. The only hope I have is Jesus Christ. I read, study and believe Gods word and yes, I believe the end is near. Revelations is being lived out a we speak. All one has to do is watch the news. I believe in the raptor of the Church, so I believe from what I read that We (Christians) will not be here during the 7 year of tribulations.

I also believe there will be many saved during the tribulations because of what it says in revelation when John ask who are these clothed in white and God says they are those who came out of the great tribulation for my namesake.I believe most will probably be killed for the belief.

I also believe that. According to John many will come out of the tribulation. I just personally believe that the Christians now will not have to suffer through it.

a preacher told me once there will not be an atheist in hell ..I said it will be slap full of them .. he said when they get there they will believe makes sense to me

I'm not extremely religious but I honestly think that the world is coming to an end and if it comes according to Revelations then it will be here soon.

I truly believe we are in the tribulation period now. All the crazy stuff that goes on in this world, theres no way, it will last much longer. I also wanted to say that I have always heard that the number of people that will make it to heaven is as many that will fit through the eye of a needle. If that is true, then think about that people, not many people will be making it to heaven. Alot of people will take that mark of the beast so they wont have to die, i think mostly it will be the rich people that take it. But thats my opinion.

I heard the eye of a needle verse as being something similar to it is easier for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle than a sinner to enter the gates of Heaven. It could very well be a different verse you are talking about though.

I'm not sure myself how that verse goes, but either way, if its true then there wont be many people makin it to the glory land. I myself am a sinner, sometimes intentional, sometimes unintentional, and I dont think im the only one. No one is perfect, not even christians themselves. I wish everyday that I could be saved and know that I'm going to Heaven to be with my grandparents and other people I have lost in my life. But it will take alot of strength in prayer and alot of changing my ways.

It was a rich man in the verse your referring to. However, most scholars believe the eye of needle mentioned in the verse was a small gate in the outer wall of the city's of those days rather than a sewing needle we think of today.
The main gates of the city were closed at night for protection. There was a smaller gate that travelers could enter at night if permitted. The gate was believed to be so small camels would have to crawl on there knees to enter. So it is not impossible for a rich man to make it to heaven, just harder.
