I don't know how North Carolina ranks nationally. I can tell you from what I see here in Eastern North Carolina, the quality of football is much better in North Carolina compared to the football I watched while living in Kentucky. The players are bigger and faster, overall much better athletes. I have been told that football is even better in the western half of the state. This year, schools from the west won 6 of the 8 state championships.

I talked to one of the guys from the Border Bowl today they decided that Kentucky and Tennessee is playing each other this year and I guess after this year they will start mixing it up

Yep. looks like a solid team. A long list of good running backs and quarterbacks though.
