Maybe Honaker's attitude was the reason he didn't get on the all-tourney team.
Just a thought...I know if it were up to me things like that would be taken into consideration.

I probabily would have gone with Hammonds from AC instead of Martin, he struggled all game against Pikeville. I like Martins game but Hammons had 12 assist and 11pts against Phelps and played solid against Pikeville as well. As for Pikeville I'm not sure Honaker out played the three that made it, if they had a 4th it would have to be Honaker. Harmon was their best player all tournament long. I guess the rest looks pretty good, not sure what the big Newman kid for BL did, but he a good player though.

Honaker was not the only person on the court this week displaying high emotion or attitude as you choose to call it!

Congrats to all the guys that made it!! Ya'll deserved it!
Honaker had his best game of the toiurney against SV but did not perform as well in the other two games mostly because of foul trouble. If you look at Basketballonlyfan's post (#21) you can see the stats going into the final game. The numbers are there for Harmon, Clevinger and Bell. Don't get me wrong, Honaker is a very good player but may have fallen short in this tourney.

Cockiness shouldn't be used to judge one's ability or performance.
But fact is it does and I am just like you.....I would take it into consideration.

Martin for AC was the tournament leader in rebounds and in the top 5 in assist.
It's like I said earlier, when there are limitations to how many players can be selected from respective teams because the tournament champion receives 5 members, someone will be left off.

Like I said I like Martin's game, he plays as hard as anyone and gets the most out of his ability, he just wasn't himself basketball wise vs. Pikeville.

Good thing is, he's game and stats speak for itself.
