Trinity 38 Saint X 21 (6A State championship)
#1
Final

This game was exciting. About as good as any of the championships, and I did not expect that. I expected Trinity to win bigger, but Saint X is extremely talented and they came to play. Pretty good game.

It was a good game. I think the teams were relatively evenly matched....minus Rondale Moore. That kid is a ball player. All around stud. He was the indisputed "difference" maker in this game.

Great game today I was setting on Trinity side of the field on the 50 yard line. Believe I got sun burnt :truestory: and yes my face is red.Confusednicker:

Title #25 for the Rocks!

Rondale would have to be my pick for player of the entire championships, and I swear, maybe that Reece Smith kid for Boyle 2nd. Either him or VanCleave would be my 2nd pick, but Rondale is more of a pure running back than Vancleave who usually only gets carries on jet motion stuff, or reverses.

With St. X restaffing, are there any other realistic challengers to Trinity in ‘18?

Or to rephrase that, how good is Male supposed to be?

I haven't heard about Male expecting to have a monster year, but Coach Wolfe is never somebody to be underestimated. And if St. X gets the right coach early enough, they have the talent and resources to threaten even with re-staffing. Scott County is a perennial contender and should never be dismissed.

Overall though, I like our chances to repeat.

Lack of big linemen may be the downfall for Male per an assistant I know.
