Rumors are flying all over Floyd County that Henry is stepping down as Floyd County Superintendent. Rumors are also circulation that he was having lunch at Reno's Thursday with 2 "big wigs" from Johnson County. Another rumor is he has taken a position in Kenton County.

Has anyone got any facts???

Was told he stepped down but not sure if he will finish the fiscal year. Can't comment on the other part but yea lots of folks are talking about it right now.

Put it in the basketball or baseball forum then or even into middle school.
Football is for football, not general discussion for jobs of a superintendent.

WMDJ's Facebook posted that they have learned Webb is leaving to become Superintendent of Kenton County Schools.

WMDJ news has learned that, according to multiple sources, Floyd County School’s Superintendent Dr. Henry Webb will be leaving the school district to become the new Superintendent of Kenton County Schools in Northern Kentucky.

A special called meeting of the Floyd County Board of Education has been called for tonight.

Dr. Webb, who was named 2016 School Superintendent of the Year by the Kentucky Association of School Administrators, has served Floyd County Schools for over 20 years, becoming Principal of South Floyd High School in 1999 and Director of Instruction from 2004 – 2007 before being named Superintendent.

Kenton County, one of the fastest growing counties in the state with over 150,000 residents, operates 18 schools, including three high schools: Dixie Heights, Scott and Simon Kenton in Northern Kentucky. The school system has an enrollment of over 13,000 students, which is 33% of the county’s population 18 years and under.

The Kenton County Board of Education has planned a special meeting tomorrow at 4pm to make a formal announcement.
