First off i would take Rice over Slone based on attitude alone. As far as skills go, how can u even compare the two, they play different positions. Have to look over the magoffin fans, they get a little carried away with things when it comes to paintsville and well any team. Its ok to support your players and all that but why start such a stupid thread. Secondly, I am from magoffin myself and make fun of them all the time. I hate the place, its a joke, not just in sports but in almost every other aspect of the county. But its the same in alot of counties in the state, but mostly in the eastern ky area. Gossip, drugs, crime, politics, etc....... Not to change the subject but if anyone wants to look, its in yesterdays edition of the lexington herald, the big sandy detention center houses 56 inmates from magoffin co, most of any of the 4 counties the detention center serves, kinda says alot about magoffin doesnt it lol. Why do ya think i moved.

I'll go ahead and agree with everyone on this. There is no possible way to compare the two. They have different styles of play, and both do well in their positions.

glad you left You was on here awhile back on another thread ripping Magoffin County and saying you wanted to move .I offered to help seems like somebody else did . Whoever helped you they have my thanks and PLEASE tell them to send me a bill for their services

Why does people from Paintsville have to think Magoffin Countians are stupid inbreds. Even though they may not get on here and say it, the way they talk about us it is obvious they don't like us. Don't ever rip Magoffin County for anything, the only difference between the hicks in Salyersville and the hicks in Paintsville, they do a better job of hiding them. Something that really tick's me off is every time Paintsville play's Magoffin the students start that stupid Cornfed Inbred's chant. I know this is student's in the heat of the game, but when you start attacking someone's family and morals, that is immature, wrong and just plain stupid. The administration never has stepped up and stopped that, maybe they should take a page out of Tony Skaggs and Steve Whitaker's book and show a little class. Oh, and as for the real topic of this thread, Devin Rice may not have the god-given athletic ability that Landon has, but he works his butt off and gives 200% every game.
