Hazard looks to be one of the teams making the trip to Lexington this winter. Any word on how things are going for the Bulldogs? I know Dixon is a great coach and will have them as a legitimate contender once again.

pJ Hazard will not be at full strength Thursday. Some nagging stuff that should heal by Week 1 but some starters will not play tomorrow.
The injuries are coming along well and nothing catastrophic at this point.

After scrimmage these things apparent:
Defense is very good. Our quarterback is very good.
Ball will be in the air more.
Belfrey scrimmage next week. Several kids out with injuries. Most about resolved
Then Harlan Co who looks to me like the best 5A school in that District.
Will be a tough first game esp for the new starters.

Would like to see Hazard add the Union, Va ( Big Stone Gap) team to the schedule. I think it would be an awesome game to watch!

Hazard will be a contender no doubt.. if they stay healthy with the brutal schedule they have besides district play.
