How healthy is Fairview?

This is a rare occasion where I am cheering for Fairview because an Eagles victory gives Raceland another home playoff game if they beat Brossart. Realistically I don't see this happening and I think Bracken wins by a few scores.

Raceland will be on the road throughout the playoffs after there home game.
The winner of this game gets Paintsville. If Raceland wins they get Nicholas at Nicholas.

Raceland vs Paintsville in 3 weeks is a lock.

My mistake. I was thinking Bracken County won that district.

Raceland has to do their part first. First against Brossart and then I think Nicholas County is capable of knocking us off. While that may seem unlikely, I have seen too many Raceland teams let me down in the playoffs to be thinking they are locked in for later rounds.

Fairview isn't healthy at all , & haven't been for weeks . we might get a couple guys back next week , but most of the injuries suffered by our players have been season ending injuries where a few has had to have surgeries . For instance last night we had one 1st string lineman to play the other 4 were 2nd & 3rd stringers . 1 of our LBs who is also our FB was out last night , but may be back next week which he hasn't played since Pikeville game . Our speed back who also starts D who is our main KR/PR season ended in the Pikeville game . Our other RB/LB Ruggles has been playing hurt very sparingly because of a knee injury . Our entire 1st string DL hasnt played for weeks , but may get one back this coming game . Can't remember the exact number at the moment but out 22 positions we've had something like 13 1st string players out for 4 straight games . Raceland , Paintsville , Lewis Co , & East carter . Against Pikeville we didn't have any 1st string OL or DL playing in that game , & we lost a couple players against them early in the game . Where talking injuries like broke ankles thats required surgery , Concussions , Separated shoulders , & ankles . We only had 1 blown knee out of all the injuries . It's been a injury plagued MASH year for Fairview this year .

I Hate to hear that. Injuries are hard to overcome at small schools like Bracken and Fairview. Are they going to be back for Friday night?

Your correct this time of year there are no locks on either side to much can happen. Must take it one game and one opponent at a time

Bracken county has put together a very solid season! I fully expect to see them again in this years Playoffs but in ROUND 2! Polar Bears roll tomorrow night in Round 1!
