Hurricane Matthew
#31
We made it out alive. I have not been able to get out and assess around my house because it is still dark. Reports on the news say several tree and power lines down in the area. We never lost electricity at the house. My wife said they kept losing electricity at work (she is a nurse). It could be an interesting commute home for her. I saw several transformers blowing during the night.

The are predicting historical floods in the area. One river is expected to crest at 29 feet, flood stage is 15 feet. I have to cross this river to go to work. I will not be surprised if school is called off a couple of days this week. If not, I am going to have to find another way to because the bridge will be flooded.
No major damage to the house, a few boards from my fence fell. I also have my neighbor's large tree branches in my yard, somehow it missed my garage and hit my fence.
