Since Dilce Combs and M.C. Napier consolidated in 1995-1996, these two programs have won four regional championships each. But this is just the second time they've met in the regional championship since then, that was 1996, PCC was district runner-up, but won the championship in the rematch. In 1999 a KCC coached Meehan team lost to PCC in the regional finals at PCC.

I think overall these coaches have the most 14th regional championships to their credit- Hammonds, KCC (4) 1989, 1990, 1991, and 1993. Dixon, PCC (4) 1996, 1999, 2005, and 2010. Meehan, Hazard (4) 2001, 2003, 2004, and 2014. Someone will have five after tonight.

I was told Perry could not used neither cottongame nor conley tonight. Could someone confirm if this is true; and is so, who is their 3rd pitcher?

Cottongame and Conlet were both used last night. Hurt will go for Perry. Wells should be on mound for Hazard.
