I'm hearing Dean will not be returning to Breathitt next year. Can anyone confirm this?

Something must be very wrong at Breathitt regarding baseball. They've had something like 5 coaches in 6 years. If Dean couldn't turn it around, there's got to be some real problems there.

Just heard last night that Byron Bellamy will be the new coach at Breathitt. His assistant coaches will be his brother Micheal Shawn Bellamy and Merv Combs will be the other assistant. Oscar Fragosa may be helping as well. Looks like Breathitt has some really good help.

That would be a great hire. Maybe the football/basketball players will come out and play baseball again if coach Moore is the head coach?

Per KHSAA, Kyle Moore is the new coach. Good luck. Hope you stick around longer than those in the past, keep the dads at bay, and don't let football squash the program.
