The Case Against Hillary Clinton
#31
^ I don't think Motley supports Obama.

These two stories probably mean nothing legally for Hillary Clinton, but they are a potentially lethal combination for her politically. If Guccifer's claim that he hacked into her server is credible, then it will destroy any illusions that most people have that she was a competent, effective Secretary of State. With her unfavorable numbers already slightly worse than Trump's, these two developments are very bad news for her campaign.

Clinton Broke Federal Rules With Email Server, Audit Finds

Hacker Who Exposed Hillary Clinton’s Email Server Expected To Plead Guilty

Well, it SHOULD make a difference for Hillary in a legal scenario. After all, the headline reads "Clinton Broke Federal Rules......" I guarantee you if Granny Bear broke federal rules, HER butt would be behind bars! Also, since Guccifer danced around in her email server like a mad hatter, then her "plausible deniability" defense is total crap.

I think Hillary may have just started a spiral downfall that could end her campaign for POTUS.

The headline greatly understates what Hillary did. I break the rules when I forget to enter my time into a database at the end of the day, but nobody is going to send me to jail for entering it the following morning when I forget.

Anybody who works as an employee or contractor for the federal government and is required to take training for handling classified material knows that Clinton broke many laws. Each negligently handled classified document is a separate crime, and she deliberately mishandled hundreds or thousands of such documents. If she had been on active duty in the military and had done the same thing, she would have been Court-Martialed and given a bad conduct discharge at a minimum.

Using a headline that says Hillary broke the rules is an attempt to provide her with some political cover.

I still do not believe that anything will be done to Hillary until after the conventions. At that time, the choice of whether to continue her campaign will not be her's to make if she trails Trump in the polls.

I agree, Granny Bear, if you or I did what Hillary has done, we would both be long term guests at a federal iron bar hotel.

If I were a Trump supporter, I would hope that Hillary remains the nominee. I think he would have a tougher time with Sanders, who generates a lot more enthusiasm.

One person that scares me that could wind up getting the nomination if things go the right way, is Cory Booker from New Jersey. He's young, energetic, and I think there will be (at some point) a presidential election where he is very likely the Democratic nominee. He draws a cult-like crowd similar to Bernie Sanders. Given that we have elected Barack Obama two times as a country and will likely be choosing either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, I have no doubt we would be capable of electing someone like Booker.

I'm not a Trump supporter per se. I am supporting the Republican nominee; the nominee chosen by the voters.

I strongly disagree with Sanders being a more difficult candidate to beat than Clinton. It still surprises me that Sanders has given Clinton the difficulty that he has in the Democratic primary process. With all of her political prowess, and she can't manage to squish an admitted socialist? It shows how much support she has lost. With this email audit and scandal, I believe her support will diminish even faster now.

I understand supporting the nominee Granny and don't fault you for it. I understand that your intentions for it are moreso to vote against Hillary Clinton than anything, even if there are a few things you disagree with Donald Trump on. I certainly wouldn't fault anyone for that. Trump, yes, did win the popular vote which many of his supporters certainly like to trash talk with. There is no hope with the voters - this is a country that has elected Barack Obama two times, where Donald Trump has a legitimate shot at the presidency, a potentially-indicted Hillary Clinton will have a legitimate shot and a socialist just nipping at her heels in the primary.

The Republican Party would have been screwed either way. Go with the voters, you get Donald Trump. Go with the smoke-filled room, and you get Jeb Bush.

Relating to Bernie, I can understand from your perspective, Granny, about how crazy socialism is because you understand it. You've seen a lot on here of what I have said about cults and what Bernie's supporters have done at rallies. He has a cult-like following and although I don't know the exact number, if it weren't for the super delegates helping Hillary we would very likely be seeing him as the nominee.

Liberalism is an emotional thing. It has slowly led us down the path to destruction. Bernie has capitalized on the emotions of our youth and on many in the Democratic Party. The term "democratic" was added to socialism to give a good feel, instead of the word socialism that makes everybody cringe. In reality, both are the same thing. Unlike Hillary, Bernie is a fresh candidate that has no major scandals on his record to this point and he generates a passionate base that would likely expand should he make it to the general election.

Agree Hillary breaks rules rest of us breaks laws.
Just don't understand how people support and still voting for a law breaker & proven liar.

IMO, Hillary is despicable. When confronted in WV for her remarks about coal mining, she came so close to saying that she did not say what was on film. LOL She stopped short of that and said that she "misspoke". BS!!!!

You can follow Hillary's history and see more lies, manipulation, power abuse and so many other things that I can't even list. It's difficult to not go down the conspiracy rabbit hole with Hillary. I could do that too. I love a good conspiracy theory, and with Hillary and Bill, there are many!

Our country is in a real concerning place right now, and all we can appear to do is chose the lesser of two evils.

Wonder what the future is going to bring for my grand children. It certainly doesn't look very promising to me.

And yet another scandalous situation.

Nope.

Should we just close this one? I highly doubt a Hillary supporter like Hoot will post anything here, all the post are from other people. :eyeroll:

It's interesting that there have been virtually no posts defending either Hillary or Trump from negative posts. Just attacks by their critics. By your insults, you prove my point that both Trump and Hillary are unfit to be president. 'Gut, you must be ecstatic to have two candidates with no redeeming values. It gives you a great opportunity to use all those insults you learned in third grade. No need to learn the candidates' positions when both are pathological liars.

Because nobody reads your garbage.

You do. I doubt that you understand many of them aside from my responses to your dim witted insults, but you try.

Posts per day:

Hoot Gibson: 3.5

RunItUpTheGut: 10.3

What's even worse, you are a moderator on an unmoderated website who makes no effort to follow the rules himself.

If one of us lives in mommy's basement and has to take a break from posting to run errands for her, then it is the young man who posts nearly three times as often as I do.

Sad, but...

So, I just read an article that states most Dems would still want Hillary even if she was indicted.

Trying to wrap my head around that one!

Granny Bear Wrote:So, I just read an article that states most Dems would still want Hillary even if she was indicted.

Sad to say, she would probably still get a decent portion of the vote. I mean, a prisoner got 40% of the vote against Barack Obama in WV. Considering Hillary has a cult-like following, it wouldn't surprise me if she still got 30% of the vote should she be indicted.

The divide right now is so deep, almost everybody has lost their ability to rationalize. Whether that be an emotional attachment to a political party or an emotional attachment to one particular politician (e.g. Trump, Clinton, or Obama) we have lost our ability to think.

Years ago the approval ratings for politicians were actually much different. Take Dwight Eisenhower, who had support from the Democratic Party at a rate much higher than Barack Obama. Of course, he also had less support (although still high) from his own party. Politics has always been a way to ruffle feathers, but now more than ever we are at the point where we don't know how to think - and our country is paying the price for it.

It's just as likely you will be calling her something like Inmate Number 0781954.

If Hillary is presidential, then so is Trump. Trump is not presidential.

Should I delete this thread since the creator never had any intention of posting it or saying anything negative about his choice for President? :biglmao:

I don't care, Mr. Moderator. You are the Trump supporter who cannot find anything good to say about Trump or anything bad to say about Hillary. Delete it if you want and if you think that is the role of a moderator. You seem to be unable to find time to contribute anything but rules infractions. :lmao:

1. I haven't edited anybody's post in months, nor given an infraction. So much for everybody ganging up on poor little Hoot. I haven't deleted a single post of yours on this thread or the DJT thread. You love to spew hate on everyone but you cant take it for a second.

2. I can find plenty of good things to say about DJT. However, unlike you, I find it pointless to argue politics on a Kentucky high school sports site. Especially with a narcissist who spends 24 hours behind the screen making sure he can reply to every comment geared toward him within minutes.
I wonder who will win this state in November :eyeroll:

3. You've already been kicked once. Went somewhere else then begged for forgiveness and cried about coming back so we let you. Feel free to try BGP again until they boot you again. Even when you thought you were to smart and tried to use 2 or 3 different accounts to come back on.

4. As for the rules, you should read rule number 7. No complaining about Bluegrassrivals.com or any of its staff members will not be permitted. This includes complaining about how the site is managed and how the rules are enforced. If you have a complaint or suggestion please get in touch with a moderator or administrator and it will be addressed. Do not ignore warnings/suggestions by any staff members. If you ignore warnings or continue to complain or argue on the open forums, could result in a suspension.
We've let you spout off your nonsense because quite frankly their are only 4 or 5 members who even step foot in the political threads and nobody really cares what you're saying. Plus its funny for everyone to watch. Not one time has any staff member of this site said anything to you about your threads or post, but acting like your getting mistreated and spreading lies while complaining about the site will find you back out the door again. Oh and its free

So please, continue to write your ridiculous nonsense and refrain from throwing insults and complaining about the site. If not, find somewhere else to go. Acting like mods are out to get you lol. Don't waste the time to even reply to this post. Its the end of the discussion. Continue on with your post or continue on somewhere else.

When a website decides to elevate trolls to moderators, you know it is on its last legs. All you have done in your interactions with me is post personal attacks. I will respond as I see fit. If BGR want to drive another user away, then so be it. Banning people who constantly best you in battles of wits is a cowardly thing to do, but I expect no better from you.

Oh, and just a reminder, you post at a rate nearly three times as often as I do. One last thing, your rule 7 contains a double negative. I am guessing that you were the author.

And as I have said, if you want the respect befitting a real moderator, then you should start acting like a real moderator. A website that was truly moderated would not put up with your childish antics.
