Jordan Perry
#1
Morgan County's Jordan Perry scored his 3000th pt last night in a win against East Carter 48-27. Jordan scored 25 points last night and is averaging 28.9 ppg this year leading the state. He finished second in scoring last year. He should finish as the 5th all time leading scorer in boys state history. This kid has put in so much time in the gym to get to where he is today. Congrats Jordan.

Never heard of him, does he have any college offers

VMI has offered. Pretty sure he's gonna get more D1 offers by the time it's all said and done. Jordan plays AAU for Hoop Dreams and has for several years.

Great player, and a great kid .

Congratulations to Jordan Perry. Really cool to see such a talented player play at Morgan County. I've never got to see him play in person but I've always heard him being a tremendous player.

Not even close to a D-1 player in my opinion. he would be a decent NAIA player at best.
he's not as quick or as good as the Bach kid that played at Augusta and he's playing at Bellarmine.

Congrats Mr. Perry.
I could be locked inside a gym alone for 4 years and couldn't score 3000.

Good thing you aren't a D1 scout then, cause he's going D1. Not too many can say they have scored over 3000 points in high school and end up as the #5 all time scorer in the state. I rest my case.

Sounds to me that this kid has heart. Who cares if he goes NAIA or division 1. As long as he gets a degree. That's awesome

Absolutely agree. In the grand scheme of things isn't that all that matters. Certain people do so much criticizing about these young men when in reality we should be praising and congratulating their accomplishments.

Jordan Perry is the most underrated player in the state...

I have seen him play twice this season... Kid should be a finalist for Mr. Basketball...

I know UPike has offered... I could see Jordan playing in the OVC tho...

Very underrated in my opinion. Anyone that hasn't seen him play should. Morgan plays Lawrence at home next month. Lawrence overall has more talent, but Morgan went into Louisa last year and came away with the win. Not saying they will this year. But Perry vs the Dalton brothers are fun to watch.

I watched him play a couple of games at the Pikeville Invitational Tournament, I was impressed by his play. I think he would fit in at a number of OVC or Missouri Valley schools.

He is a nice player , works hard .

First, I hope the gets his shot a D1. Who thought the Page kid from PCC would be so good on the major D1 stage, if anyone on this forum answers they did your lying. College coaches see things differently then fans and even High School Coaches for that matter. Perry does things that some D1 coaches may like.

Second, it not bad thing to say kid can play NAIA. Have you watched Upike, Cambellsville, Georgetown, Union, Lindsey Wilson, or even Alice Lloyd. The talent level at the NAIA level is significantly higher than what you might think. I would take some of these teams over lower level D1 schools and put them on same footing as most D2 schools.

Last but not least, any of you who have a child that is a college prospect know that College Coaches are upfront and tell you find the right fit, every kids is different, you may have D1 talent but don't want to sit bench for two years before having a chance to play. So, don't down a kid that has opportunities to advance to next level and pursue his education that is impressive enough.
