Jenkins 82 Perry County Central 55
#1
Final from Yesterday

Whitney Creech went off. 61 points. 21/45 from the field. 0-5 from 3. 19/21 FT and 27 boards. She scored 60 points the last game against Lee VA. She's now averaging right at 51 PPG...

I honestly believe that if she and Jenkins can keep this up that they'll be in the regional tournament.

Going to be tough. They got a shot for sure.

My Priorities are:
1)God
2)Family
3)Cougar Athletics!

Everything else doesn't matter![/COLOR]

This kid is phenomenal and I respect her accomplishments. I hope she can lead her team to a regional tourney but it's not going to be easy. They cannot beat Knott in 100 tries and Letcher will be a hard out. They will have to beat Letcher to get in and I wish them the best.
#5
Be a shame if Creech doesn't get to show her game at the regional tourney.

Did someone on another thread say Perry was a top team in the region with the best coach? He has never won with what he has but has won when he has a lot of transfers.
#7
Would love to see Creech play.

That is the dumbest statement in the history of bluegrass rivals. Coach Napier just happens to be the winningest coach in KY. girls history and it was not accomplished with transfers. Every coach has a transfer occasionally but his state champion team was all local.

I don't think any knowledgeable fan thinks Perry is anywhere close to being even in the top 4 of the region and Neither does coach Napier.

You might want to rethink that statement perry county central has chance anytime they step on the floor,They have the best coaching staff in the region!!
They just beat Knott county 71 to 70. I wouldn't want to play them in district or regional play.

That's a great win for these young kids. I definitely agree on the coaching ability. Pleasantly surprised on their improvement.

I think this region is a lot more wide open than people think. PCC is by no means a world beater, but anything can happen in regional play.

If you have Creech you always have a chance, hope she can make it to region this senior year!
