All 4 should be great games, could be 4 for 4 or none.
11-28-2015, 04:50 AM
I'm going with 2. Pikeville and Belfry
11-28-2015, 04:50 AM
Pikeville will be all Beechwood wants and more.
11-28-2015, 04:50 AM
1A: PUSH, Beechwood slight favorite but Pikeville has a legit shot
3A: PUSH, Belfry slight favorite
4A: Doubtful, Unfortunately I just think South Warren is on a different playing field
5A: Questionable, Bowling Green is a solid favorite but Pulaski has a legit chance

I can see no more than 3 with no less than 2.
Pikeville and Belfry should win. While Pulaski County has a good chance but it will be tough. Johnson Central has the hardest task ahead of them with South Warren waiting on them.
Good luck to all!!

In all honesty, all 4 could win or all 4 could lose.

Can't believe I am agreeing with you, but you are 100 % right. Pulaski is not a mountain school. I think it has to do with what and their viewing counties.

Pikeville 60% chances on winning
Belfry 100%
Johnson Central 50% on winning
Pulaski County 60%

With our team having played both Belfry and Lexington Catholic, I'd make Belfry by far the most likely of the bunch to win a title. Belfry's line should dominate both sides on that game. Lex Cath's speedy receivers will probably get loose once or twice, but they shouldn't be able to run on Belfry. And they definitely can't stop the run very well.

I honestly think they can win all 4.
South Warren is hard to pick against, but this Johnson Central team seems really focused.
This is more than just a game for them. A few months ago that school was being used for a shelter after one of the worst flash floods in Kentucky history. One of their players lost a home in the flood.
I can't pick against them.

I hope that 4 big trophies come back the parkway from Bowling Green. All 4 have got very tough opponents.
11-28-2015, 02:35 PM
I do believe all 4 have a legit chance. It's pretty cool to see Johnson Central playing in the state title game, after caravanning over the mountain with food, water and cleaning supplies for them just a few months ago. I understand that JC is a little banged up and I hope I'm wrong but that just may be a game changer for them.
Pulaski may not have any mountains in their area, but they are just as red necked as Harlan County.....so they get a pass!!

There 54 counties in Kentucky in the Appalachian regional commission and Pulaski is one of them.

Belfry will bring back their 3rd. Straight.
Pikeville unless something happens to #45.
JC will have their hands full, but if healthy they have a shot.
Pulaski 75 percent chance of winning.
