Looks good except Pikeville should drop down to about 8th.. and Sheldon Clark & South Floyd should switch

Before anyone gets on here and starts crying, I believe Shelby Valley hasn't been beat yet and those Golden Eagles have lost how many in a row without McCarty? I watch a lot of basketball and I'm being honest about these rankings. If I was on here to piss someone off I would have East Ridge #1. There is no way that Johnson Central is a better team without McCarty, better hope JC gets him back real soon he is one great player.There are some teams out there who have all of the talent in the world and they have no heart. They think by putting on the uniform and stepping onto the court makes them cool, but I don't think there is many people who love losers!!!

McCarty only missed 2-3 games. His first game back he put up 20 points so you really have no excuse there. They lost 5-6 games WITH him.

Looks, good I guess. I would make the following changes:

(1) I would put Paintsville over SV until SV at least beats a solid team. I mean they haven't even played a competitive team in the 15th region yet. But undefeated is undefeated and the WYMT tourney will give us some quick indicators soon enough, so I can live with this ranking for now.
(2) I would move Pikeville to 6th for this poll (only because they have a key starter out which hurts them). Otherwise, they deserve to be 3rd.
(3) I would probably (for this week and until they sort out their problems) put Magoffin over JC.
(4) As for the 11-17 rankings, looks close enough. I don't think it makes much difference what order you rank the 11-15 teams right now. Of course Piarist and David would have to be last though.

It's not easy for any team run-off 11 straight wins to start the season, no matter who their competition is because teams always go through a let down, so Shelby Valley should be on top. Besides, they beat Corbin and ran the table in the Cumberland Falls Tourny. Who's to say the Wildcats won't take the WYMT too?

Nobody is saying that SV won't win the WYMT. What everyone is saying though is that if they do, they will get the respect that they are wanting from everyone.

After watching the Belfry torunament this past week I would rank Belfry ahead of Pikeville... but that'a about the only thing I would change.

His first game back he only had 2 points in the first half, he didnt make a shot from the field... Bad hand or not if he is as great as you all make him, he should be able to score atleast 10 points in the first half with one hand, he should score atleast 5 if he didnt have any hands...

I know you aint talkin to me, cause I have NEVER made McCarty out to be GREAT, NEVER. I was makin a point to ERblue4ever that he only missed 2-3 games after he/she said JC has lost alot of games without him.

Redneck, I know for a fact that the McCarty kid only missed three games, but he came back to early and he is still not 100%. So, check your facts before you reply. I have Pikeville ranked ahead of Belfry, because they have a win over the Pirates in the PIT.

I would put Belfry over Pikeville. If for no other reason than one of Pikeville's main starters is out. But this past weekend Belfry lost to a very good Milwaukee South team by 13. But they were within 10 in the 4th quarter. Pikeville got destroyed by this same team the night before by 35 points! Pikeville did beat Belfry earlier this year I will admit. But Belfry shot 0-18 from the 3pt line in that game and still only lost by 4 points. If half of their shots would've fallen Belfry would've defeated Pikeville easily there. I just think the Pirates are better. And Shelby Valley did beat a very good Bell Co. team. I've never liked Shelby Valley, but I can't argue with them being #1.

I agree with both statements ... An I dont like SV... but I can't argue that they should be #1..
