There is no way this Russell team should have lost to this Fleming County team 18-7 on our home field last Friday. The 92 Interception TD was the killer that set the complete tone of game in the 2nd half! Then the failure of making the 4th down conversion and Fleming taking over in our territory and running it in from 20 yards making 18-7 was terrible. Two plays that killed Russell at home last week and still with the 'D' giving up only 100 yards total for the game was a joke! Even without Conley tonight we are playing like we should have last week. That was biggest joke of a game last week in Russell's 3A district 5 History especially playing at Home. Hopefully, its woke them up to finish out the year and go 8-2 and have home field in playoffs with WC winning tonight! Russell should win the Tiebreaker with 1 point for each of the Non-Conference Wins for that team. GC5, Ironton-5, Boyd County 4-5, and we need to beat Raceland in the Home Finale! WC and Fleming don't have good Non-Conference opponents like Russell and Tie should go to Devils.
