Has the making of a great game. I think you may underestimate Coach Hodge and his staff.

You got a close pick, good for you. But IMO the only thing that will make this a nail biter is if Coach French get's a hang nail. lol

42-7 Southwestern. Bourbon will score, but not on the SW starters.

Southwestern wins the battle up front

Bourbon's QB is really good, but I must say that coach French will have his team ready and they have better players at the skill position. " Warriors come out and play " and Play they will.

Bourbon wins coin toss...about it. May be close for a bit because I believe Hodge is a French disciple, so he should be familiar. This might of been a decent game a few years ago.

SW is on another level this year.

I hope my friend John Hodge can keep this competitive. But I'm thinking that will be a tall order. Hoping for nail biter between two of my favorite HC's. Be nice Larry

Southwestern 42-7

Bourdon has a HUGE job ahead of them on protecting their QB...SW's Defense is really good, or Harlan is really bad. Harlan had -14 yards rushing lask week. That is crazy for a team that dressed 80+ kids. Watch out when SW gets the lead, and keep your Head on a swivel. SW's O-line has a test with Bourdon's Big Boys also. These first week games games have a lot of questionanlbes. SW must win dominantly to be where they want...

Southwestern way, way, to much for Bourbon County. 48-6

Bourbon is good I think they may upset the young Southwestern team.

southwestern is playing on another level bourbon will not be able to hang... southwestern wins 42-7

I think Southwestern wins, but not a running clock type of win.

PJ I hope I'm wrong, just going off of Bourbon's success the last several season. I don't really have much to compare them to since they haven't played a game yet and I haven't seen results for their scrimmages. Anyone know what they have other than the QB?

It's finally here GAMEDAY!!! Are the Southwestern Warriors as good as we fans hope they are? Will they come out and pound a good Bourbon Co. team? Will it be a nail biter, or even an upset for Bourbon? Time to strap up and knock each other around for a couple hours. I believe SW answers the bell with a solid win, their defense plays big part.

Bourbon is always good, but Southwestern is much much improved in Larry French's 2nd year. They will be tough for anybody to handle.
