Boyd County has 15 or 16 hits on the night LC has 9 or 10 hits. The field was in terrible shape pluse it rained the whole game. When the ball landed in the outfield you could not see it because the grass was so high. That being said both teams played on the same field in the same conditions. Lc threw 3 pitchers Salyers, Bower, and wheeler, BC also threw 3 pitchers.
2nd baseman Payten Cyrus did not play, ss Zach Keesee dh only, and 1st bademan Chase Coverdale left the game in the 3rd inning with a leg injury. Hopefully LC can get healthy before next weeks district games with pike central. Good luck to Boyd county the rest of the season.
